When we arrived at Cardiff Castle we were greeted by the sight of tents in the in the centre of the castle. There were many activities happening, for example Falcons were flying and taking meat from their owners hands.
Men dressed in arm our were re-enacting a battle between the kings troops and the rebellious Welsh people perhaps 500 years previously.
There was a demonstration of combat with knives.Upon entering the castle the children were given a guided tour and toldbout the history of the castle. Then we found a tent where a professionalstory teller was telling a story about the Red Dragon on the Welshnational flag. The children listened and understood everything and thenthey were asked questions. It was a day to remember with so manyactivities.
